Turtle, Octopus and Seashell – Introducing new names for our children's wards at Prince Charles Hospital

When you visit the children’s wards at Prince Charles Hospital(PCH) you won’t be looking for wards 31 and 32 any longer, it is now Turtle Ward (31) and Octopus Ward (32) for which you will be looking.

MMR vaccination programme rolls out into CTM schools

In recent months, there have been significant outbreaks of measles in the UK, including cases within South Wales. Measles is highly infectious and the only way to prevent large outbreaks is through high uptake of the MMR vaccination (2 doses).

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board receives an NHS Wales Award for a sustainability project during Wales Climate Week

A sustainability project, which is seeing waste cardboard turned into pet bedding, was recognised today by NHS Wales Chief Executive Judith Paget.

Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB has appointed a new Independent Member (Legal) Helen Lentle.

Helen undertook a law degree at De Montfort University and qualified as a Solicitor in 1991. She has an MBA (Distinction) from Cardiff Metropolitan University, a certificate (ILM Level 7) in Executive Coaching and Mentoring from the University of South Wales and has undertaken leadership development at Harvard University.

A key milestone for the £260 million refurbishment project at Prince Charles Hospital(PCH)

Tuesday, 21 November, 2023 we saw a key milestone happen at PCH as the larger of the two cranes has done its part for the refurbishment project and been dismantled.
