Supporting carers across CTM during Carers Week

As part of Carers Week (8-12 June), we are hosting a series of Carers Cafés across our acute hospital sites to recognise and support unpaid carers in our communities.

Carers provide vital, often unseen support to loved ones, and this week offers an opportunity to celebrate their contribution while ensuring they can access the help they need.

The Carers Cafés will take place from 2pm-4pm at:

• Princess of Wales Hospital - 8 June
• Royal Glamorgan Hospital - 10 June
• Prince Charles Hospital - 12 June

These sessions are open to unpaid carers, staff who are carers, and families of patients. Attendees can speak directly with support services and find out more about the help available both within the Health Board and in the community.

A highlight of the week will include a performance from the Dementia Carers Choir at Princess of Wales Hospital on 8 June (2pm-3pm).
