Are you eligible for the RSV or COVID-19 spring vaccination?

Two important vaccines are being offered this spring, and we want to make sure everyone who is eligible gets the protection they need.

COVID-19 spring vaccination

The COVID-19 spring vaccination is now being offered to:

  • Adults aged 75+

  • Residents in care homes for older adults

  • People aged six months or over who are immunosuppressed. Even if you’ve been vaccinated before, your protection fades over time. That’s why it’s important to stay up to date.

You will receive an invitation letter to attend an appointment for your vaccination.

RSV vaccine

The RSV vaccine, which has been routinely offered to people when they turn 75, will now also be offered to people aged 80+ and residents in care homes for older adults. Pregnant women are also eligible to have the RSV vaccine.

Look out for your invitation letter and take up the offer when it arrives.

Getting vaccinated can reduce your risk of serious illness and hospitalisation from RSV and COVID-19.
