Lymphoedema

Lymphoedema

Our Lymphoedema Service provides assessment, treatment, advice and support for patients with lymphoedema regardless of cause. We are a nurse-led, outpatient-based service at both Dewi Sant Hospital in Pontypridd, and Kier Hardie University Health Park in Merthyr Tydfil.

Our Lymphoedema Service works closely with the Tissue Viability Team and District Nursing Teams, undertaking joint assessments and reviews which can be carried out at home if a patient is housebound.

Who Is It for?

The Lymphoedema Service provides a specialist service for people who require holistic management of their lymphoedema (regardless of cause). The service is available to anyone within the Cwm Taf Morgannwg area.

Can Anyone Use the Service?
