Acute Learning Disability Nursing Liaison Service
CTMUHB have three Acute Learning Disability Liaison Nurses who are based in:
- Prince of Wales Hospital
- Royal Glamorgan Hospital
- Prince Charles Hospital
The Liaison Nurse will maintain contact with the ward throughout the patients visit or admission
- Providing advice and guiance
- Supporting the hospital staff to make reasonable adjustments where necessary
- Providing Learning Disability awareness and champion training to staff
Who is it for
- People with a Learning Disability and their families and carers
- Staff working in these hospitals
Can anyone use this service?
No, specifically only people with a Learning Disability, their families and carers and staff working in these hospitals
Opening times
8am - 4pm Monday to Friday (however, the service works flexibly out of these hours where necessary)
