Research & Development Conference
Each year Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB holds a Research & Development Conference to celebrate the high quality and collaborative research being undertaken across the UHB by all professions. The conference provides an opportunity to share the research outputs with a wide range of delegates from the NHS, academia, Welsh Government and industry.
Each year the conference programme includes a keynote speech, oral presentations and an opportunity for all attendees to review poster presentations and exhibition stands throughout the day. 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes are awarded on the day for the oral and poster presentations.
A call for abstracts is open between May to September with the conference being held in November.

This year’s Research & Development Conference 2026 will be held on Wednesday 25th November 2025 at the Castle Suite, Vale Resort, Hensol, CF72 8JY
Throughout the day there will be an opportunity for delegates to hear the oral presentations and review the poster presentations, showcasing the high quality, multi professional collaborative Research & Development being undertaken across the Health Board. The conference also provides an opportunity to network and visit our conference sponsor and exhibitor stands.
