Engagement events in your community

We are pleased to announce the launch of the next phase of public engagement for Maesteg and the Llynfi Valley.

Following four weeks of online engagement and activity, we are now embarking on a series of community engagement events throughout October and November 2026, during which Health Board colleagues will be meeting people in the local community, in well-known and accessible locations.

During the next two months we want to have conversations about:

✅ The proposed Llynfi Valley Health and Wellbeing Centre at Ewenny Road, subject to future funding approval by Welsh Government.

✅ The future of the Maesteg Community Hospital site, following the opening of the proposed new Llynfi Valley Health and Wellbeing Centre at Ewenny Road

✅ Improving local access to health and wellbeing services

✅ Listening to the experiences, ideas and concerns of local residents, community groups and partners.

We want to hear from the broadest possible range of voices across Maesteg and the Llynfi Valley, so please share this information with your family, friends and wider networks so that as many people as possible can take part.
