Supporting the local community
Working alongside construction contractor Tilbury Douglas, the redevelopment programme is also delivering economic and social benefits for the local community.
The project has created opportunities for:
- Apprenticeships and skills development
- Local employment during construction
- Engagement with schools and community groups
- Support for community initiatives and projects
Through community benefit schemes, project partners also support local education programmes, employability initiatives and community projects across Merthyr Tydfil.
