The redevelopment programme is progressing through several phases.

Completed and ongoing works include:

• New outpatient’s department as part of a wider Ambulatory Care Centre with a dedicated new entrance
• Relocated pharmacy department, readily accessible on the ground floor adjacent to outpatients
• Construction of new operating theatres and recovery facilities.
• Infrastructure upgrades across the hospital site

Completion of a new, enlarged Critical Care Unit

Creation of a new Sterile Supplies processing unit including Endoscope processing facilities

Creation of dedicated Clinical Engineering facilities

Creation of an inpatient therapies rehabilitation hub

Dedicated processing and storage facilities for all incoming hospital supplies, linen and beds

Dedicated waste management and processing facilities and flows to the rear of the hospital 

Final expansion and improvements to on-site parking facilities

Providing resilience to piped oxygen supplies and ICT provision across the site and support various other infrastructure improvements
