Counselling Support

VIVUP Logo. Health. Wellbeing. Happiness. The Employee Experience and Wellbeing Service is available to everyone who works for CTMUHB and aims to support staff on their emotional, physical and financial wellbeing. However, we are not a crisis service ourselves.

If you need support to deal with personal issues or want immediate advise and support, CTMUHB is funding staff access to a free telephone helpline and counselling service. Speak in confidence to fully qualified counsellors and support specialists 24/7 to discuss any emotional concerns. Everything discussed is treated in the strictest of confidence.

Canopi Offers free, confidential service that provides NHS and social care staff in Wales with access to various levels of mental health support which includes:

  • self-help
  • guided self-help
  • peer support
  • virtual face-to-face therapies with accredited specialists

Crisis Support

Samaritans Samaritans is a helpline service available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

They offer support for anyone of any age in need to talk about things troubling them, including depression and suicidal thoughts.  It aims to work with people to create a safe place where they can talk about what is happening and how they feel and help them find their own way forward.

Valleys Steps was established as a well-being charity to help people to help themselves.
