We provide all aspects of contraception, sexually transmitted infection screening, advice and referral for womens’ and mens’ health matters. This includes:
Contraceptive methods, oral contraception, injections, implants, inter uterine contraceptive devices.
Sexual health screening, chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, HIV and more. We also provide pregnancy advisory clinics which can be accessed via walk in clinics or GP referrals, and cervical cytology clinics which can be accessed by walk in or appointments. Appointments can be made by telephoning the numbers provided.
Anyone requiring advice on sexual and reproductive health. We also have dedicated young peoples’ services. There is a drop in clinic in Aberdare Health Centre which takes place every Monday 3-6pm for young people aged 18 and under.
Yes. Our walk in services are indicated in our clinic timetable. If appointments are required, this is indicated in our clinic timetable. GPs are able to refer patients to our services as appropriate.
All our services are confidential and tailored to meet individual needs. Where necessary, we are also able to help patients by referring them to other agencies.
