Temporary closure of Royal Glamorgan Hospital South Entrance

The South Entrance of the Royal Glamorgan Hospital will be closed on Monday 24 August, and we are asking all patients and visitors to enter the hospital through the main entrance.

Between 7am – 4pm on Monday, the hospital’s south entrance, near Tirion Birth Centre, will be closed.

This temporary closure will allow for improvement works to take place at the south end of the hospital to replace the air handling unit system.

This work is essential to ensure adequate ventilation of all clinical spaces, helping to keep staff and patients safe.

Every effort has been made to keep disruption to a minimum while these essential works are completed.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience as we complete these essential works.
