Nursing Times shortlist for CTM Autism Service

Cwm Taf Morgannwg's Integrated Autism Service team has been shortlisted for the prestigious Nursing Times, Team of the Year Award 2026, recognising its outstanding work to transform autism services and improve care for people across the region.

Bringing together nurses, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, social workers and healthcare support workers, the team works collaboratively to strengthen assessment processes, build workforce capacity and create a more consistent, person-centred service. The team has introduced a structured post-diagnostic support programme and innovative initiatives such as a therapeutic garden project.

Being part of the shortlist is a testament to the dedication of everyone in the team, ensuring autistic people receive the timely, high-quality support they deserve.

The winners of the Nursing Times Awards 2026 will be announced later this year.
