Help Shape the Future of Health and Wellbeing in the Llynfi Valley

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is inviting local people, community groups and organisations to help shape the next phase of the Healthy Futures Maesteg programme. 

We'll be coming out to communities across Maesteg and the wider Llynfi Valley during the autumn, and we'd like your help with two important things. 

Help us reach more people 

We're already working with many local groups, organisations and community leaders across Maesteg and the wider Llynfi Valley, but we need your help to make sure as many people as possible have the chance to get involved and share their views. 

If you run, volunteer with, or are connected to a community group, organisation or local network, we'd love to hear from you. By joining our contact list, you'll receive updates on the Healthy Futures Maesteg programme, opportunities to take part in engagement activities, and information that you can share with the people and communities you support. 

Tell us where we should visit 

As we plan our community visits, we'd like to know which venues, community spaces and local events would be the best places for us to meet local people. Whether it's a community centre, coffee morning, sports club, local event or another community setting, your suggestions will help us plan our programme of engagement. 

Alongside these local visits, we will also be holding larger community events that will be open and accessible to everyone. Together, these activities will create many opportunities over the coming months for local people to learn more, share their views and help shape future plans for health and wellbeing services in Maesteg and the wider Llynfi Valley. 

We'll carefully consider all suggestions received. However, to make sure we hear from as many people as possible, we'll choose venues and locations that help us reach the widest range of communities across Maesteg and the Llynfi Valley. 

We'll make it easy for you to find out how to get involved. Our engagement calendar will be published on our website, shared on social media and sent directly to our mailing list, so you can keep up to date with where we'll be, when we'll be there and the many opportunities available to help shape future plans.
