Cwm Taf Morgannwg welcomes 19 new Occupational Therapists to the Health Board

This September(2021) Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board will be welcoming 19 new Occupational Therapists to join our team at Cwm Taf Morgannwg The 19 occupational therapists visited Cwm Taf Morgannwg last week in a ‘meet and greet’ event.  The new recruits met with existing team members, union representatives and senior OT managers and received information on their role and the variety of rotational opportunities available to them.

Paula Cornelius, Head Occupational Therapist said: “ Holding a meet and greet event before the new recruits start is an excellent opportunity for them to ask any questions they may have and to get a taste of the environment they will be working in.  It’s very exciting for us in Occupational Therapy to have new recruits on board as a larger team will allow us to increase capacity within core services and give us more opportunity to trial new and innovative ways of working in the community”.
