Community Intensive Interventions Team (CIIT)

The team offers intensive interventions (up to daily visits Monday to Friday 9:00h to 17:00h) for young people with severe and enduring mental health problems, with a Care and Treatment Plan. The team has developed strong link with partner agencies including health, education, Local Authority and voluntary sector to maintain young people in the community and prevent hospital admissions. The team works closely with the Inpatient Unit to facilitate early discharge and transition to the community. The team has a full time Consultant and a Band 7 Lead. There is no time limit for the interventions provided by this team.
