The Bryn Hyfryd Midwives cover the geographical areas of the Ogmore, Garw and maesteg Valleys and all the areas at the bottom of the valleys including Pen Y Fai and Bryncethin.

The Glan Y Mor Team Cover the geographical areas of Porthcawl, North and South Cornelly, Pyle, Margam Village, Kenfig Hill, Cefn Cribbwr, Laleston, Broadlands, Bryntirion , Cefan Glas , Park Street and roads surrounding Park Street.

How to contact your community midwife
There will be at least one midwife working everyday, including weekends and bank holidays. We work between 9am – 5.00pm. If there is no answer with your named midwife try another contact number. As a rough guide the midwives each cover a geographical area based on postcode
DO NOT leave a message as your midwife may be off work and may not get the message for several days.

Midwives antenatal clinics are held weekly at Pontypridd Health Centre or Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda (excluding bank holidays).
It is important that you attend all your appointments, if you are unable to attend please contact your midwife or our support worker to make alternative arrangements.
The Pen Y Fro Team Cover the geographical areas of Litchard, Coity, Wildmill, Bridgend Town, Brackla, Coychurch, Troes, Pencoed and Heol Y Cyw. Also Brynna and Lanharan if the GP is based in Pencoed and Ewenny, Ogmore by Sea, Southerndown and St Brides Major if the GP is based in Bridgend.
