Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health (S-CAMHS) Team

There are four teams based in Taff Eli, Rhondda Cynon, Bridgend and Merthyr Tydfil. They provide outpatient interventions from a multidisciplinary team to young people with common mental health problems. All the teams have a designated Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and a Band 7 Lead. The teams offer short-term group, individual and family psychologically-informed therapeutic interventions. The teams also hold cases under Part 2 of the Mental Health (Wales) Measure.
