MTX announced as Headline Sponsor of the CTM Seren Annual Awards 2026

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is delighted to announce MTX as the Headline Sponsor of the 2026 Seren Annual Awards.

Supported by CTM NHS Charity, the Seren Awards recognise and celebrate the exceptional contribution made by NHS staff and volunteers across CTM every day, highlighting their kindness, teamwork, innovation and commitment.

More than 200 nominations were received for this year’s awards, recognising individuals, teams and volunteers whose work has made a difference to patients, families, colleagues and communities across Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf.

The finalists will come together at the Vale Resort on Thursday 8 October, when the winners will be announced and colleagues reaching more than 50 years of NHS service will also be honoured.

As Headline Sponsor, MTX will support the wider awards celebration and the Research, Innovation and Improvement Award, which recognises colleagues and teams who have used research, introduced innovative ideas or developed new ways of working that improve patient care, quality or efficiency.

The partnership builds on MTX’s work with CTM UHB as the construction partner for the first phase of Llantrisant Health Park, a major regional healthcare development near the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.

The first phase, coming in late 2027, will create a new Community Diagnostic Hub, providing additional diagnostic capacity for patients across South East Wales and helping people access tests and treatment more quickly.
