We are inviting residents across Maesteg and the Llynfi Valley to share their views on the future of local health and wellbeing services.

This is your opportunity to share your views and help inform plans for our proposed new Health and Wellbeing Centre at Ewenny Road, subject to future funding approval by Welsh Government.

You can also share your ideas for the future of the Maesteg Community Hospital site and its role beyond providing direct NHS services.

The survey is your opportunity to tell us what matters most to you, your family and your community over the next five to 10 years. We want to hear your ideas, questions and concerns, as well as what you would like to see from local services in the future.

The survey asks about:

  • Access to local health and wellbeing services
  • The services you would like to see available locally
  •  What would make a new Health and Wellbeing Centre easy and convenient to use
  •  The future of the Maesteg Community Hospital site
  •  Your questions, concerns and ideas for improving local services

Engagement events in your community

Community engagement events are planned for October and November 2026. These engagement opportunities will enable conversations between local residents and Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board staff, allowing you to ask questions and share your views in person.
