What We Do

The primary function of the ward is to provide inpatient assessment, care and treatment to adults who experience a wide range of mental health problems and aim to support them through their recovery journey.

Can Anyone Use This Service?

The service is suitable for adults between the ages of 18 to 65, both male and female.

The service is accessed through our gatekeeping Assessment/Liaison Team who will ensure alternatives to admission are explored during the assessment. 

What To Expect

Patients will receive a thorough assessment of their mental health by a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Assessments will inform care and treatment options, which best suit individual needs. Patients will be supported to engage in a range of therapeutic activities and provided with information on community services to support recovery.
