Daffodil Suite, Princess of Wales Hospital

The Daffodil Suite is a low risk birthing room situated within the Princess of Wales Hospital, based just off the Labour Ward. This room offers the opportunity for a calm and relaxing birthing environment for those who wish to have a low risk birth within an obstetric unit. The purpose of the suite, which includes a birthing pool and en-suite is to provide a homely environment for those who wish to birth there. The room is bathed in natural light and is equipped with a single bed, birthing pool with Bluetooth connection, birthing ball and room for you to mobilise with ease. If you are interested in giving birth at the Daffodil Suite or would like to discuss your options further, please discuss this with your community midwife or staff within the unit who will be happy to support you.
