CTM Children and Young People's Diabetes Service

Building on our commitment to lifelong diabetes care, our Children and Young People's Diabetes Service offers dedicated support for those aged under 18 living with diabetes.  

Our multidisciplinary team works closely with families to provide expert medical care, education, and emotional support - empowering young people to manage their condition confidently and thrive at every stage of development. For more information please click here. 

Peer support: 

• Diabetic Dragons CTM Support and Social Group  
  A registered charity run by volunteers who have experience of type 1 diabetes. The Diabetic Dragons are supported by Diabetic Specialist Nurses from CTM UHB. Social events are run for children with type 1 diabetes and their families. Join to discuss diabetes, make new friends and share your experiences with diabetes!
