Innovation Showcase in Care Homes
The Innovation showcase in care home event was held on the 13th of May, 2025 at the University of South Wales, where the CHC team hosted the first ‘Innovation Showcase in Care Homes’ event in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board!
Care homes had the opportunity to share their positive work, showcasing the difference being made every day for residents across CTM.
We heard an insightful session on accountability and delegation from the Royal College of Nursing, a reflective wellbeing session led by Anna Playle and Dr Lucy Fishleigh, and a forward-looking session on digital transformation with Simon Reid. Afternoon spotlight sessions included informative talks on vaccinations, advanced care planning, clinical navigation hub and occupational therapy.
With posters, stalls, and a room full of ideas, it marked an exciting step in connecting and celebrating innovation across our care homes across CTM.
