What We Do
The Adult Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) provide a range of services for adults (18 – 65 years) who have moderate to severe, unstable mental health problems.
The teams offers support to people with a range of mental health difficulties. Examples of these include psychosis, bi-polar, personality disorder, severe depression and anxiety.
Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs) work in partnership with Health and Social Services along with other voluntary sector providers.

Can anyone use this service?
The service is for adults between the ages of 18 and 65. Referrals into the CMHT typically come from healthcare professionals in other mental health services including, Primary Care Mental Health Services, Community Drug and Alcohol Teams, Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Teams.
What to expect
If you, or the person you care for, are referred to our service, we will support your journey through mental health services. Our team will carry out an assessment and work with you to develop an individual care plan, risk management plan and crisis plan.
Community Mental Health is a service that runs Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm
