Partial Road Closure at Royal Glamorgan Hospital (12 - 14 December)

A partial road closure will be in place at Royal Glamorgan Hospital from 6am on Friday 12 December until 6pm on Sunday 14 December to allow for the installation of new air-handling equipment for our operating theatres.

There will be a single lane in operation between the hours of 6am and 6pm between the hospital’s main entrance and outpatients’ entrance and temporary traffic lights in place to support the flow of traffic through the site.

The hospital’s main entrance will be closed to vehicles, including those parking in accessible bays and picking up or dropping off patients. Patients will be redirected to the outpatients’ entrance for pick up and drop off during this period.

Disabled parking bays are available in the main car park, and the spaces at maternity and our Emergency Dept will be unaffected.

For those visiting our site via public transport, a temporary bus stop will be in place and signposted clearly.
