We’re excited to be inviting people and groups from Maesteg and the wider valleys communities to come together in early January 2023 to help shape the future of health and care in Maesteg.
If you have experience of using local services and ideas about how we could help people to live healthier and happier lives, we want to hear from you!
We also know how important Maesteg Hospital is to the local community and we want you to tell us how we can make this an even more useful and accessible Hospital for everyone - an exemplar health care facility fit for the 21st century.
We’ve been working with local community groups in the heart of Maesteg to organise four community events in early January 2023.
Come along to one (or more) of these four planned sessions:
Tuesday, January 10, 2023
Community Venue: Caerau Development Trust
Times: 3pm-5pm & 5.30pm-7.30pm
Address: Caerau Community Centre, Woodlands Terrace Caerau, Maesteg, CF34 0SR
Thursday, January 12, 2023
Community Venue: Maesteg RFC
Times: 3pm-5pm & 5.30pm-7.30pm
Address: Llynfi Road, Maesteg CF34 9DS
We have consulted widely to determine the locations of these engagement sessions in order to maximise attendance and participation. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Caerau Development Trust and Maesteg Rugby Club for kindly partnering with us as community hosts.
To help us plan for these events effectively and safely, not exceeding room capacity for example, we are inviting local residents and community groups to fill out this very short registration form.
If you are Maesteg resident, then also look out for this poster being advertised locally (in community groups and on local social media pages). You can also access all the details via our CTM social media pages and on our new Healthy Futures Maesteg web page.
We want to talk to as many people as possible in Maesteg, and anyone with an interest in the development of Maesteg Community Hospital.
We hope to see you there and please spread the word!
