Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is celebrating after being recognised at the NHS Wales Awards 2025.

The NHS Wales Awards showcases improvements in quality and safety that are transforming the experiences and outcomes for the people of Wales.

Teams from Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board have been announced as the award winners in the following categories:

 

NHS Wales Person-Centred Care Award

Evaluation of the Alcohol Liaison Service and Scoping to Develop a Co-Designed, Person Centred Service to Best Meet Population Need

 

NHS Wales Timely Care Award

One Referral, One Visit: Timely Integrated Care for Swallowing, Nutrition and Medication Management in Care Homes

 

This year’s event, held in Cardiff, focused not only on celebration but also on learning and collaboration.

Finalists had the opportunity to participate in a poster marketplace and lightning talks, proudly sharing their work and insights with colleagues from across NHS Wales and highlighting how great ideas can spread and scale across the system.
