Cwm Taf Morgannwg service change announcement for Breast service patients living in Bridgend

From 1^st April 2024, Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board will be making improvements to how it provides treatment and care for breast patients living in Bridgend County.

Currently, some Breast services for Bridgend residents are provided at Neath Port Talbot Hospital.

A change will come into effect from 1^st April,  which will mean that some patients living in Bridgend County Borough, will be asked to attend their appointments at the health board’s new, state-of-the-art Snowdrop Breast Centre.

This Centre is a one-stop diagnostic and treatment service for breast patients, offering the best clinical care within a supportive environment.

What happens next?

If you are a patient currently on our health board’s waiting list, you will be sent a letter providing the full details of the change.

Where is the Centre located?

Snowdrop Breast Centre is adjacent to the Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Llantrisant.
