Today, Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB launches its public engagement plan to support CTM 2030: Our Health Our Future.
Our communities, staff, partners and stakeholders are all being invited to come together to ‘build healthier communities together’ through the development of new 10 year organisational strategy for CTM UHB - CTM2030: Our Health Our Future.
Paul Mears, Chief Executive, CTM UHB said “Through our strategy we will do everything possible to ensure that all age groups within Cwm Taf Morgannwg have the best opportunity to live happy and healthy lives and access to high-quality services that are affordable, efficient, sustainable and above all, safe.
“We know we have a difficult road ahead, made even more challenging by the last two years of pandemic. CTM 2030: Our Health Our Future aims to bring our regional partners, stakeholder and communities together to have a joined-up conversation around what does good health and care look like for the next 10 years and beyond for our CTM residents?
Linda Prosser, Executive Director of Strategy and Transformation, CTM UHB added:
“There are no limits to feedback – anything that matters to people, we want to hear about it. We want to shift the conversation away from ‘what’s the matter with you?’ to one that is led by our patients, service users and communities telling us what really matters to them. That means us getting better at listening, giving people a stronger voice in their care, as well as helping people to stay well in their own homes and communities; managing their own health and conditions with confidence.
Linda added: “Through our new ‘Green CTM’ commitment we are also prioritising how we build a sustainable health care model for the future that shows respect to our planet for generations to come. That requires us to really consider our health and social care resources, assets, infrastructure (buildings) and the wider environmental impact of all our health care choices on our planet for generations to come.”
