Cwm Taf Morgannwg is the NHS Health Board responsible for health services in the Eisteddfod area this year. However there are health care providers on site who can deal with the majority of health issues that might arise so no need to leave the Maes!
We hope you all have a safe and enjoyable time at the Eisteddfod, and have put together some health advice to read before you arrive and while you are at the festival.
Before you arrive
Please remember to bring all your medications with you – this includes any inhalers, EpiPens, contraceptive pills and anti-histamines. A local pharmacy may not be able to supply you with your routine medications especially if they are prescription-only.
If you have a condition such as diabetes or epilepsy that means you might become suddenly unwell then please wear a MedicAlert bracelet or pendant and make sure anyone travelling with you knows about your condition. You might also have a handy medical app on your phone – please make sure this is up to date and enabled.
