After a successful career in music (first as a singer, then as a Musical Director), my focus has shifted more to the political realm in the last few years.

I was co-opted as a Councillor on Ynysawdre Community Council in February 2023 and in May 2024 became its chair – a position I still hold today.  Additionally, I was also co-opted as a Councillor on St. Bride’s Minor Community Council in 2024.

I am also a Governor in Brynmenyn Primary School (for which I am now Chair) and Coleg Cymunedol Y Dderwen.

I was appointed as a member of the CTMUHB Stakeholder Reference Group in 2025 and recently became Chair of the Group. I am looking forward to being able to represent the public across Cwm Taf Morganwg and doing my small part to ensure it’s vitality in the years ahead
