These are training courses to help you to support colleagues and typically last either ½ or full days. To attend anyone of these workshops, please complete our Access Form.

Managing Staff Wellbeing: Providing the Best for Staff and Patients

This full day training course is open to all managers and explores the following topics in an interactive way:

  • The role of managers in supporting the wellbeing of staff
  • How, as managers, we can promote a culture of positive wellbeing in our teams
  • Increasing psychological safety in our team
  • How to support individual staff members who are struggling
  • How to maintain appropriate and helpful boundaries

Important information:

✔  Designed to help managers support colleagues who may be experiencing difficulty
  Recommended that participants have an appropriate level of wellbeing before attending
  Not intended as a therapy session for the participant
  Not intended to help staff support patients or members of the public

  • One off 1-1 session
  • Full day - i.e. 9am - 4pm
  • Typically held on Microsoft Teams
Listen, Support and Signpost: How to be there for colleagues

This training course is designed to equip staff with tools they can use to support the wellbeing of their colleagues. The session covers:

  • What is emotional wellbeing
  • Stigma around emotional wellbeing and mental health
  • Maintaining helpful boundaries when supporting others
  • The importance of self-care when supporting others
  • How to support colleagues by noticing distress and having a conversation
  • Sources of wellbeing support for staff in CTM
