Speaking to a receptionist

Your GP practice has a range of healthcare professionals with different specialities working within the local area to provide you with the care and support you need for a range of conditions, both new and chronic.   

Specially trained receptionists, or care navigators, will ask you questions to understand your condition. This information will help them decide which healthcare professional is best suited to meet your needs, this may be a GP, Pharmacist, Practice Nurse, Physiotherapist, Optometrist, Dentist, Podiatrist, Health Visitor or Social Care Workers.
