R&D Strategy 2025-30

CTMUHB’s R&D Strategy 2025-30 outlines how CTMUHB will further develop and deliver its research ambitions through increased activity, visibility, infrastructure and evolving research culture. A key strategic aim is to embed research as a core function of the organisation, in alignment with key UK, national and CTMUHB policies and strategies. The strategic objectives have been set across primary, secondary, community and social care and population health and are applicable to all specialties and professions (clinical and non-clinical).  The strategy also documents an action plan against which the delivery of the CTMUHB R&D strategy can be measured.

Following the drafting of several versions, developed through extensive consultation with Welsh Government, Health and Care Research Wales, Higher Educational Institutions partners and the wider clinical and non-clinical groups across the organisation, the strategy received Board approval on July 31st, 2025.
