Home Oxygen
The home oxygen service organises oxygen to be supplied for children and young people within their own homes who have been identified as oxygen dependent by a Neonatal or Paediatric consultant. The children and young people are monitored by the team to ensure their oxygen prescription is appropriate and continues to meet their needs.
Services include:
- Completion of home oxygen order form and removal as necessary
- A home safety assessment
- Monitoring of pulse oximetry
- Home visits to provide support for parents and families
- Training for nurseries and schools
