Cystic Fibrosis

We provide multi-disciplinary Cystic Fibrosis clinics for children with a diagnosis of cystic fibrosis. The children and young people are seen regularly by their local consultant and members of the multidisciplinary team from the University Hospital of Wales.

Services include:

• Newborn screening visits
• Support for family at diagnosis
• Training and support for nursery and school staff
• Individual health plans
• Annual assessments
• Performing cough swabs and sputum samples when needed
• Ordering and supplying consumables for nebulisers
