CTM Women's Health Hub

Cwm Taf Morgannwg has a new Integrated Women’s Health Hub  - a friendly, community-based service designed to make it simpler for women and girls (from 13+) to get the care and support they need.

Based at Ysbyty Cwm Cynon, the Hub brings a range of women’s health services together in one place.

At the Hub women can access help with menstrual health, contraception (including post-natal contraception and abortion care), and menopause support, through both face-to-face and virtual appointments.

The Hub offers a “one-stop” approach wherever possible - meaning women can talk through their concerns, have any necessary checks, and agree a plan for treatment or support, all in one visit with a team of clinicians with specialist expertise in women’s health.

Every health board in Wales is setting up a local Women’s Health Hub to provide joined-up care closer to home in response to the NHS Women’s Health Plan for Wales, which aims to improve how women’s health needs are recognised, understood and treated.
