Maternity Services Win National Award
Maternity Services at CTM this week scooped the ‘Faculty of the Year’ award at the first ever PROMPT Wales award ceremony.
PROMPT (PRactical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training) is an evidence based multi-professional training package for obstetric emergencies and it currently being undertaken by teams in CTM. It is associated with direct improvements in outcomes for mothers and babies through improvement in knowledge, clinical skills and human factors.
Sarah Fox, Head of Midwifery and Gynaecology at the Health Board said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won the award in this category which reflects the impressive multi-disciplinary working in our service.”
