Join CTM in celebrating International Nurses Day 2025

International Nurses Day 2025 CTM Staff

Happy International Nurses Day 2025 Today (Monday 12 May), Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB is joining in the global celebrations to mark International Nurses Day, and this year’s theme is “Caring for nurses strengthens economies”.

International Nurses Day is an opportunity to recognise the incredible work, dedication and skills of nurses and Health Care Support Workers worldwide.

We are immensely proud of our diverse nursing and midwifery teams in CTM and appreciate everything they to do for our patients and communities, every day, in our hospitals and across our communities.

Over the last year, Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB nurses have been working tirelessly to provide the best possible healthcare for members of our community, and as a health board, we’ve been delighted to see many of our nursing staff recognised for their achievements.

Greg Dix, Executive Director of Nursing, Midwifery and Patient Care said: “I’d like to wish a very happy International Nurses Day to all of our fantastic nurses and health care support workers working across both our acute and community sites. This celebration is an amazing opportunity to recognise the outstanding work, commitment and dedication of our nursing teams across our health board to care for our patients, and their families, every day”
