A free All Wales Speech and Language Therapy Careers event will be held online on Friday 11th October from 8:45am-12:00pm.
The event is being held jointly by Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) representatives from Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, along with SLT representatives from the other six Welsh Health boards, and SLT professionals who deliver courses at Cardiff University and Wrexham University.
Aimed at school and college aged pupils, and adults considering a career change, the event will promote the wide variety of career routes available in the field of Speech and Language therapy.
The online event will include an introduction to speech and language therapy as a profession, information relating to the wide variety of Speech and Language therapy roles, panel discussions with current SLT students, newly qualified SLT professionals, SLT assistants, and experts in the field. Attendees will also be able to access case study videos of patients, parents and families explaining how Speech and Language therapists have made a positive difference in their lives.
