Major Incident

Another aspect of staying safe is knowing what to do in the event of a major incident. This is something that hardly ever happens, but you need to be prepared if it does – it could be a natural event such as freak weather causing flooding.

Be alert but please don’t be alarmed – move away from whatever is occurring and follow the directions of stewards and police whose number one priority is your safety. And remember ‘See it, Say it, Sort it’. Report anything that does not look right to a member of staff.
