Good to Grow Volunteers

Volunteers Week 1st – 7th June is a wonderful opportunity to say thank you to all of our volunteers at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.  Furthermore, provides an opportunity to showcase the roles our volunteers play, their impact in improving not only the patients experience but supporting and complimenting the role of our staff.  Our volunteers are instrumental in supporting the running of the therapeutic gardening group with: 

• Supporting the Occupational Therapist and Occupational Therapy Technician with the running of the therapeutic “Good to Grow” gardening group​

•  Interacting with patients ​

•  General garden maintenance, maintaining beds, seasonal activities including seed sowing, cutting, potting and bed renovation

• Providing refreshments
