Bar Barista

Bar Barista first opened in the Royal Glamorgan Hospital in 2011. Since then we have expanded our own branded coffee shops to other sites within the Health Board including Prince Charles Hospital, Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda, Ysbyty Cwm Cynon and Keir Hardie University Health Park.

The two community hospital sites at Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda, Ysbyty Cwm Cynon and the Health Park in Keir Hardie are Bar Barista Plus coffee shops and offer a selection of hot cooked food during the mornings and at lunch times.

Our vision here at Bar Barista is to provide you with the “Ultimate Coffee Experience,” offering you high quality products and services the likes of which you could find in any high street coffee shop.

In our shops you will find a wide variety of coffee made by our own specially trained baristas, as well as a selection of teas for all tastes.

We also offer a selection of sandwiches, paninis and toasties in addition to a delicious selection of cakes and tray bakes.

• The Royal Glamorgan Hospital Bar Barista (Atrium) opening times are: 8:00am – 7:00pm
• The Prince Charles Hospital Bar Barista (Next to the restaurant) opening times are: 8:00am – 6:00pm
• The Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda Bar Barista Plus (Main reception) opening times are: 9:00am – 5:30pm
• The Ysbyty Cwm Cynon Bar Barista Plus (Upstairs on the left) opening times are: 9:00am – 3:30pm
• The Keir Hardie University Health Park Bar Barista Plus (Main reception, turn right) opening times are: 8:30am – 3:00pm

Bar Barista is owned and operated by Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board and as such all profits are incorporated back into the services we provide for you.
