Commercial Business

During Neil’s 27 year career at Philips he held a number of senior healthcare and consumer leadership roles which saw him working in the UK, Sweden and the Netherlands. From 2016 Neil was CEO for Philips UKI, focusing his leadership on the development of healthcare propositions within the diagnostic radiology, digital pathology, informatics, interventional cardiology and acute patient monitoring businesses. In 2021 he became regional lead for the Philips Healthcare business in Northern Europe and played an instrumental role as a founding member of the new European leadership team.

In 2017 Neil was appointed non-executive director for Cardiff based MyHealthChecked – a consumer diagnostic business operating through pharmacy. In 2023 he was appointed non-executive director for the Life Sciences Hub Wales, and he is an advisor to Ibex Medical Analytics, an international AI player in the digital pathology space.

Alongside his business responsibilities, Neil has been a Board Member and Chair of the Association of British Healthtech Industries, represented the Healthtech Industry at HMGov’s Life Sciences Council, and has co-chaired the Ministerial Healthtech Partnership board.

Born in Cardiff, Neil is a passionate Welsh rugby supporter, and an active cyclist, runner and hiker.
