Summary of Meeting

The purpose of the meeting was to provide updates on action items from the previous meeting and continue planning the winter vaccination and health protection campaign. 

Key discussion points included:

  • Updates on submitted business cases for communication toolkit and community funding pot. Outcome of business case decisions expected on 31st July and will be communicated with the group.
  • Identification and confirmation of community venues for vaccination outreach.
  • Planning the delivery of vaccination champion training sessions.
  • Co-designing key messages and campaign materials with community input.
  • Communication methods and accessibility considerations for campaign materials including discussion regarding leaflets, WhatsApp, Padlet.

Develop bespoke training session (level 2 Making Every Contact Count (MECC)) for Community Vaccination Champions
