- It Takes a Village
- Focuses on community spirit and mutual protection.
- Uses real local people in familiar settings (e.g. school gates, shops, rugby pitches).
- More Than Me
- Storytelling-led approach showing personal motivations for vaccination.
- Emphasises protecting loved ones and the wider community.
- Our Best Defence
- Rugby-themed concept highlighting protection and teamwork.
- Playful tone with imagery from local clubs and community sports.
Rugby spin-off - applicable for all 3 routes.
- Strong support for both “It Takes a Village” and “More Than Me” concepts. “It Takes a Village” was marginally more popular as a concept.
- Suggestion to merge the two into a unified campaign that reflects both community and personal responsibility.
- Mixed views on rugby theme:
- Some felt it was inclusive and resonant.
- Others cautioned it may not appeal to all and suggested expanding to other physical activities (e.g. bowls, walking groups).
- Accessibility: Importance of including BSL translation and ensuring materials are inclusive for deaf communities.
- Local relevance: Emphasis on using recognisable local landmarks and real people to build trust and relatability.
