This week CTMUHB is celebrating National Careers Week (3 -8 March), an annual UK wide event dedicated to promoting careers, education and guidance. National Careers Week is an opportunity to empower people by providing them with knowledge, resources and inspiration to make informed career choices. 

During National Careers Week, we will be highlighting the some of the roles available within CTM, providing resources to help individuals apply for roles, and exploring pathways to employment.

NHS Career Pathways 

If you are looking to start a career in the NHS, there are different pathways you can follow.  

CTMUHB partners with a number of organisations and training providers to broaden access to our roles and enhance employability. Through these partnerships, we offer further qualifications, apprenticeships, internships and work experience opportunities for individuals.   

Additionally, these collaborations may provide mentorship, career guidance, and skills development programmes.  

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to build on your skills, CTMUHB has a route for you.

How do I become an Apprentice in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board? 

As part of National Careers Week, CTM is hosting an online session on Thursday 6 March (2:00pm) to explain how you can become an apprentice with the health board.  

Led by Rhian Lewis, Learning and Development Lead), the session will explain 

  • Where to find apprenticeship vacancies 

  • How you can become a CTM apprentice 

  • What a CTM apprenticeship involves 

  • A Q&A session 

There will be also be a chance for you sign up to our database for updates about future apprenticeship vacancies with CTM.
