Staff

Nicola started nurse training in 1986 and worked as a registered nurse for 11 years in both the Prince Charles and Princess of Wales Hospitals. She then graduated as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor), and has since worked for 22 years within our communities.

Nicola has worked in various local Trusts and Health Boards, most recently returning in 2015 to take up a post with Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. She has been a Trade Union representative for the Royal College of Nursing since 2014, initially on a part-time basis and more recently moving into the role full time.

Nicola took up the role of Independent Member in 2018, and is a member of the following Board Committees:

· People and Culture (Vice-Chair)

· Charitable Funds

· Remuneration and Terms of Service Committee

· Health, Safety & Fire Sub Committee (Chair)
