The Standing Orders and accompanying schedules form the basis upon which our Health Board’s governance and accountability framework is developed and, together with the adoption of the Health Board’s Values and Standards of Behaviour framework (known as the Standards of Behaviour Policy), is designed to ensure the achievement of the standards of good governance set for the NHS in Wales.
All Health Board members and officers must be made aware of these Standing Orders and, where appropriate, should be familiar with their detailed content. The Director of Corporate Governance/Board Secretary will be able to provide further advice and guidance on any aspect of the Standing Orders or the wider governance arrangements within our Health Board.
